14. The Girl
15. "Emberic Mountain"
16. Red Shadow
17. The Fiery cavern
The Girl and 'Emberic Mountain" will hopefully be written this weekend. And since the firebird appeared once so far, I hope for that form to appear more in chapter 16 and above.
Here is what probably would of happened in the first part of the story if I didn't change things around.
-Originally, this was just going to be a one shot, however I created a bunch of characters that were pretty interesting.
-I put Rainbow against Storm right away. I remember it being Storm being rather ruthless and looking like he killed Rainbow. Storm is one of Master's favorites and so he gives Storm presents. One day, of them is an egg, and Nia pops out and beats Storm up much to his horror.
-Ember was going to be another favorite of Master, only fighting because he wanted to survive. The firebird isn't really mentioned by him. Master sends Nia to kill him, but is only pummeled in submission. Nia follows Ember around after Master abandons her. She does try fighting again and then Ember figures out she is Ocean due to her curiosity. He then turns her into her present form, where she thanks Ember.
-Master is pummeled by Storm, Ocean, and ember where he transforms into a grass lizard.
-Rainbow was going to be plotting against the other elementals, but it was figured out. They manage to trigger it's memory and it transforms into Earth.
-Ocean betrays Ember when she can't figure things out and she brings him to Master. Ocean's alien form (Nia) manages to appear throughout the story as self defense. Master plots to destroy earth again, however Ember manages to convince Ocean to let him go. Once she does, he fires at Master but becomes severely hurt. Ocean goes back to her true form upon seeing the deed, however she tries to convince Master not to destroy Earth but take ember as prisoner. In this story, Ocean is considered mostly as anti-hero/villian until she makes sense with Katie.
-Master slightly agrees to this plan since he likes Ocean, however Ember bursts into his firebird form much to Ocean and Master's horror. Despite getting in some attacks, Ember is defeated. Before he can retreat to Earth, the firebird recognizes Ocean and she follows suite after him, and so in a way she betrays Master.
Note: HEY LOOK I'M BACK :)
He certainly didn't expect this. Staring way up was the giant reborn Earth just sitting there. Ember looked at himself, he was a few feet away from where Ocean entered the planet and then he looked to the clouds. He saw a bunch of clouds forming, most likely from Storm or by random. He saw a ship faintly landing in the outlines of a continent. He was set ablaze, not much as before, however he felt stinging flames not from his own hands, but from the faint air. 'Ember' Ember growled under his breath. 'You may enter Ember.' It was taking some use to realize that Earth was communicating telepathically instead of talking with an actual mouth and having a monstrous form. "Doesn't this feel odd for you? Things entering for invasions or homes and then leaving to explore?" Earth had no response to the question and it then remained dormant and began to rotate very slowly. Ember's legs soon turned into a small ash cloud and breathed heavily as his eyes briefly glowed. With a sudden scream of a warriors cry, Ember charged right into the atmosphere with a burst of flame. He saw a bunch of canyons and a mountain, and in an instant without stopping, broke a piece off it. The flames around him flew off as he hit the ground. Some red and orange dust flew a bit. His eyes dimmed as his pupils contracted a bit. "Well that was amusing!" Ember grunted and looked up to see Ocean sitting on a dirty and very hot rock. As Ember began to sit up, Ocean looked up at the hot beaming sun. "It sure is hot out here. I don't know why I'm not dying from this since I'm made of water." Ember brushed himself off and stared at her. "You are an elemental, you aren't going to die that easily." Ocean stared at him. "However though, you are evaporating at the edges where your arms normally drop water." Ocean's eyes slightly widen and she looks at her almost see through arms. In the corner of her eyes, she sees an animal digging and immediately goes after it. Ember sighs and looks away to see the land around him. A bunch of cacti is growing at the edges of some rocks. A lizard crawls on one and stares at him. Ember grimaces and then he spews some fire nearby where it burns a cacti whole. Ember stares at the sky and grunts. "Earth! Hey Earth! If you can understand me, give me a sound or something!" Silence. Earth doesn't telepathically make a warning either. "You scared of-" A sudden rumbling of the desert briefly occurs and a small crack appears underneath Ember. Ember smiles and shows a bunch of his small teeth. So it was listening to him. "This desert doesn't look fun, form a volcano!" Nothing happens. "I said form me a volcano!" This time, it answers in his head. 'You do realize this state doesn't contain that much volcanoes. Well maybe Sunset Crater. Would you want the populations here to experience more?' Ember growled under his breath. "Just one please!" Silence. A larger sudden rumbling appears and a giant hole forms underneath the ground. It rises and then stops and soon, bits of rocks and small lava streams start to form. "I guess I'll call it the Emberic mountain." Some wind passes him and it sounds like a sigh. A sudden streak of growls and barks grabs Ember's attention. He flies away from "Emberic Mountain" and lands near Ocean. His eyes widen. Ocean is holding a medium sized coyote in her arms. It fights and bites in her arms, but she doesn't feel anything. The coyote's eyes are angry and it's teeth are showing. "Look what I found! A cute dog!" Ember grunts under his breath. "That looks rather rabid Ocean, are you sure that it is a normal dog?" Ocean suddenly frowns when she sees the animal squirm more. "Let it go live its life!." Ocean nods and lets go of the coyote. It snarls at Ocean and then it retreats far away from the two elementals. "Are all animals going to act this way toward me?" "If you do it that way, then yes!" Ocean growls at him in annoyance. "Um, excuse me?" Ember and Ocean look behind them to see a very small cave nearby them with at least 6 rocks on top of each other. A small figure is standing under it. A girl with long brown hair with black eyes is staring at the two. "Look Ember! It's a human!" The small girl giggles in amusement and she steps out of her little home. "Hi, my name is Katie!"

It was quite a shock to the three elementals that Rainbow was the Earth that was destroyed by their own comrade Greenie. Or was it Master? It didn't really matter to the three anyway. Earth was there right in front of them rotating slowly. Silence until a few hisses nearby. The ships, seven giant ships containing most of whats left of humanity, was ahead of them. Ocean quietly growled, a part of her was thinking that she should destroy something, but she also wanted Earth safe. She then stared at Ember, who's eyes glowed slightly. "Why does our giant friend have no face?" A low rumble enters Storm's throat as Ember face palms. "It's a planet Ocean, planets aren't supposed to have faces!" Ember glares at Storm and grunts. "Thanks for the obvious!" "Well, she doesn't know that much." Ocean grins and nods. "Where did our little crazy personalities go?" Ember snarled. 'My friends, he ran off somewhere.' On instinct, Storm's eyes glowed while Ember formed a fireball when they heard the voice. Ocean barely floated backward and then she looked where Earth was with the ships almost entering their newly created home. "Rainbow?" 'Correct little one.' Ember gets rid of the fireballs in his hands and gets closer to Ocean. "It's speaking telepathically." 'I'm sorry this a shock to you all, it is too me as well just recently. Before you all ask, I was destroyed and then revived into a monster that contained a few memories.' As Earth/Rainbow was speaking, the ships disappeared within the atmosphere to look for new homes and land. Ocean couldn't help but stare at the white swirly clouds that seemed to move on their own. Ocean then looked at the actual large bodies of water and Ocean couldn't help but smile. Ember moved in closer to touch her arm. "I am sure the actual oceans are pretty like you." "I believe this love won't work between us since we are different types of elementals." Ember grew a snarl on his face and his pupils slightly contracted. "I wasn't saying that we should be in love." Ocean just stared at him oddly until her eyes darted to Storm floating toward Earth. "Buddy, what are you doing?" Storm stops what he is doing and stares at Ember and Ocean. "I am going to explore these skies, I rather not have Master catch me here again." Ocean floated slightly in front of him. "Let us join you, we are bound to roam together." Storm laughs softly at Ocean. "I am normally a loner and I would like to explore alone for the time being." Storm suddenly forms into a cloud as he gets closer to Earth. "Besides, I would suggest you and Ember to go explore together." And just like that Storm disappeared into the atmosphere. Ember groaned in annoyance but he then sighed in resignation. "Well, I guess I will teach you some things. Ocean?" Ocean was no where to be seen, however a trail of water spouts led to a North American continent. "Agh, Ocean wait up!' Ember roared as he set himself ablaze and flew after Ocean. On the partially beaten up Moon nearby, Master glared at the reborn Earth. "Well, well, well, this is great!" Master's snarl suddenly turns into a small smile as he continues to stare on. "But it shouldn't be bad, Earth lives on! Maybe leave them alone." Greenie shakes his head and snarls "Leave them alone?!" Master laughs sinisterly. "Fine, however they will have new company soon." Master's eyes glow and in confirmation of his quote, a series of laughter and inhuman roars erupt behind him.
To be Continued in Firelight (2)
Upcoming chapters will be in this tab
Note: There will be one more chapter for part one
Ember awoke from his little "incident" much later. How much later, he didn't really know. Staring right into Ocean's purple eyes, he noticed she looked a little confused. Her pupils were not staring at him. He slightly chuckled as he felt something cold on his arms. His eyes slightly widened as he realized he was laying in Ocean's arms. "Ugh, what happened?" Ocean's head turned right toward him. She smiled but then quickly frowned. "What?! What's wrong?" Ember stuttered, but then became serious in a stoic manner. "Is it something to do with my other form/" Ocean slightly nodded, but then shook it. "Not only that, but how aren't you hurting in my water form?" Ember chuckled at her before stopping. "It kind of does, but it isn't severe because your an elemental. Water that isn't created from you does actually burn though." Ocean slightly flinched but smiled. "So, from Earth?" Ember frowned at her, she still needed most of her memories back. "Yeah, from Earth. Ocean there is something your not telling me." Ocean looked away from him. 'I know there is a secret here, just spit it out!' Ocean screeches as she drops Ember. "Stop doing that!" Ember's eyes glow slightly he as he growls shortly. "Fine then." "Rainbow is Earth!" "What?" Ocean shrugged as she looked at Ember. "I feel that we should all know that Rainbow is Earth, since it keeps giving out hints!" Before Ember can say anything, something grey with a flash of light crashes into him. He knocks the object off him in a quick flash and snarls but stops short. "Storm?!" Storm rises in his cloud, his eyes are glowing but it dims. He looks nervous with a frantic touch to it. He stares at Ocean in awe. "Ocean, y-you brought her back?" "Uh yeah, that was Nia." Ocean glares at Ember. "But yes, she is back!" Storm smiles slightly at her, but his eyes contain some betrayal in it. "I am sorry for calling you an embarrassment. I was clearly not thinking straight." Storm nods in gratitude. "Anyway...what's your deal?" Storm stares at Ember. "Well-" "STORM, COME BACK!" The three elementals stare into the distance as Rainbow comes charging in. He stops right in front of them. "Rainbow is acting nuts! He is trying to kill me here!." Rainbow grunts at him. "I WANT BALANCE! YOU ARE PART OF GETTING LIFE BACK!" "Ocean steps right in front of Rainbow. He growls at her, but his crazed eyes soften a bit. "Please calm down, I'm trying to figure this out." Rainbow stares at her as his colors go blue, green, and a little brown. His tail dissipates as his eyes slightly glow. Ocean notices that he has something in his clawed hand. "What's all that?" "ALL YOUR DNA!" Ember forms a fireball as his eyes glow. "Hey! Are you sure this thing is Earth?" "That's Earth?" "QUIET! Okay big one, what does that mean?" Rainbow stares intently at his hand. "I managed to get some of your blood and DNA, including Greenie and Master. Swallowing this, will distract the remaining human ships, SO THEY CAN HAVE A HOME AGAIN!" Rainbow immediately swallows it all and then he laughs like a happy child. He flips twice and then his eyes glow once more. "Master prefers his own name. He hates being called Greenie," Rainbow stops playing in space, and stares at Ocean. His eyes are unsure on how to spill a secret. "He knows somethin!" Rainbow nods and gets closer. "Master brainwashed me on the whole truth, but as far as I know, Greenie is just the good part of his personality." "So basically a split personality thing, oh man, that was probably Greenie that was helping me when Ember was the firebird!" "WHAT?!" "Fix me! Please make me a whole planet now!" The elementals turned toward Rainbow and gasped. He looked taller with Earth colors. "I see the ships! All Seven Main ones! YES! HUMANITY PLEASE RETURN TO ME!" Ocean turned toward Ember and Storm, they looked really confused, but they had a stern happy face on. A sudden large green whip with yellow pieces to it, whipped Rainbow in the legs and arms. Rainbow only laughed as his legs and arms started to shorten. Ocean turned to see Master from far away. She swore she saw him snarl, but then he nodded and jumped off somewhere else. She smiled, Greenie must of done that much to Master's anger. Rainbow turned toward the three elementals and nodded. He looked large now, almost to his full height. Ember and Storm rose up into the air, and started to throw lava and lightning respectively. Ocean sighed and then threw a large wave that engulfed Rainbow. Ember stares at her as she shrugs. Ocean and Ember stare up at Rainbow. He now looks round with green representing land, grey with clouds, red with some deserts and volcanoes, and blue with the ocean. Rainbow was now a complete Earth.
It was a shock really. Ocean couldn't believe it, Ember was right about him being a temper fueled elemental that could turn into a monster. No. He isn't one. She should not believe that he is. Master is the monster here for brainwashing her in the first place. Is she a monster for hurting innocents when brainwashed? It isn't the same anymore. Clearing her mind for a small bit, Ocean started to notice that Ember continued to glare at the floating Master. His whole head twitched slightly, as if feeling some sort of agonizing mental or physical pain that was seeping through his fiery veins. He still was in place where he body slammed Master, very still but with hard breathing sounds. "Ember?" Ocean floated up to him closely. In almost an instant, a load of fire came from his toothed beak. It went through her body and she slightly flinched. It was odd. She didn't really feel any pain. Ember growled at her, his eyes furious with rage but it also had a wary sense to it. Before Ocean could say anything, Ember screeched in surprise. Behind him was Master biting him hard on the top of his clawed wing. Master threw him to the side where the firebird briefly flew off. Ocean stared at him in confusion. "Your welcome." "Is that supposed to be pity?!" "You should be thanking me!" Ocean grimaced at Master. He was a monstrous alien elemental that supposedly destroyed Earth, but at times he seem very out of place in his mind, even looking confused and quiet. "We need to find Rainbow." "So you can finally kill him?!" Master remained silent, his pupils slightly dimmed. Another screech is heard as Ember comes charging. He rams into Master and trips Ocean with his wide wings. Master snarls in annoyance. "Aren't you supposed to control this power weakling?" Ember turned to him and snarled. A few sparks shot out of his back and eyes. He was slightly fuming as he listened to Master's mock. "You can't even control your temper, maybe that's why you mindless brute!" Ember roared at him as he raised his claws. Before he could slash Master however, Ocean throws a water balloon at him. Ember is thrown back slightly. The steam slightly dissipates as he hunches over a little. He growls at Ocean. "No more fighting Ember." Ember screeched out at her again, but didn't move. "Uh, Ocean?" "Master shut your mouth, I know what to do." Ocean floats by Ocean and gets to his side. His reddish color is now a bloody reddish orange. "I am here to help." As soon as he said that, Ocean flew in front of him as Ember slashed on instinct. His red eyes glowed intensely as he stared into Ocean's deep purple ones. 'Maybe if I don't do anything, Ember won't attack me.' Ocean and Ember continued to stare on. To Ocean, it felt like it was staring at one of the devil's pawns, but Ember was not a demon to her, he was a fire elemental. As she continued to stare at his eyes, she noticed that the glowing dimmed and Ember began to grow restless. His head turned to Master, but he wasn't there. Ember grumbled in frustration and soon turned his full body around. He lifted his wings up as to fly away from her. "No! Don't leave me!" Ocean covered her mouth, as soon as he blurted her thoughts out. Did she really need Ember in her life? Being an alien messed her mind up badly. Ember turned his head toward her again and grunted. His eyes darted to her nervous expression. Ocean couldn't tell if Ember could even read her thoughts. He seemed to mindless to care and she was really unnerved about it. A growl escaped his beak along with a few sparks as he continued to stare at her. He seemed to be planning to attack any moment. But he didn't seem to plan anything, and Ocean almost thought she saw his pupils dilate slightly. Ocean smiled fondly but it turned into confusion as the firebird screeched in pain. She noticed Master on top of him, biting him in the back. Ember thrashed as his whole body glowed briefly. Some flames came and started to burn Master's grass armor. Master let go and then brought out a yellow dust ball. He threw it on Ember as he continued to roar and screech. The dust settled on him and then the firebird flew right in front of Ocean. He crashed into her watery arms. "What did you do!?" Master stared at her and smiled fondly. This doesn't normally happen. "This will only happen once, so you should thank me." Ocean growled at him. She then stared at Ember, who looked rather dim. A sudden wave of fire engulfs him as he turns back to his normal self. "Are you alright?" No response, until he mutters under his breath. "Give...me five more minutes." Ocean grinned. "Will you ever help me in a time of need?" Ocean turned toward Master, he looked guilty in the eyes, but his mocking voice was still there. "Why should I help you?" Master growled softly under his breath. He chuckled once and then seemed to go in a stance. Seeing what he was going to do, Ocean threw a bunch of waves into him until he floated off into the distance nowhere to be seen. Ocean sighed as Ember continued to complain in his sleep. "We need to find Storm and Rainbow before Master does." So Ocean flew off with Ember in her arms, hoping to restore life once more.
Note: You will see the firebird more in the future, mainly the next part of the story, so hang in there.
I will update more soon
Note: I'm back! Here is a longer chapter for you all! We are close to the end of the first part (1). (Give maybe 2-4 chapters)
Master growled again. He put his claw foot down harder on Ember and laughed at him. "Show me Ember!" Ember only grunted in response. He looked at his hand and tried to form a fireball, but only a few sparks shot out. "You can't stay quiet fool!" Ember growled threateningly at Master as his pupils contracted. "You should know where she drifted! You saw us fight!" Master's grass filled reptilian head leaned in closer. His orange yellowish pupils brightened but had a deathly look to it. "You seem to be muttering, what was I doing?" "I SAID YOU SAW US FIGHT!!!" Ember yelled before briefly glowing red. Master's grass head disguise melts away to show his purple reptilian head. He looks slightly amused as he chuckles. "Indeed I did, however you know where she drifted when you yelled at her. Your instinctive temper rather." Ember snarls at him and finally burns Master's branch leg off. He flies into the open space as Master regrows his leg. Before Master can respond, he is punched in the face. "GO SMALL! That will be more fair!" Master chuckles at him. "As you wish firelord, as you wish!" Master shrinks and immediately charges toward Ember, but gets burned by a fireball in the head. He roars in pain and forms a grass whip as his head regains its grass armor. Ember manages to dodge a couple of them before throwing a fireball at Master. It hits him in chest but it only knocks him off balance. "A little better than before, but not enough Ember!" Ember growls and charges once more. He forms claws and tries to slash Master, but yells out in pain as Master whips him across a few feet. Orange and red dust floats in the air near Ember. Master grins until he sees a faint glow. Ember is back up glowing with intense flames around him. His eyes mad and pupils nearly contracted. His sharp teeth are slightly showing. Master laughs. "Well then, you are taking it up a-", a fireball explodes on him before he can finish his remark. He falls and grunts. There is a burn mark on his grass skin. "You were saying?!" Ember's voice has slightly deepened and his eyes darkened. His flames around him rise a little more. Master grins and forms more whips. "So be it!" He throws his whips toward Ember, however only one hits Ember in the face. He growls. "Master?" A feminine but calm voice enters. Master turns to see Ocean, however she isn't alone. Rainbow is by her side, the colors on its body is only green and a faint white. "Where is Storm?" Ocean's eyes dimmed suddenly as she looks behind Master. Ember looks like he is about to kill something. "You aren't answering!" "What did you do to him?" Master's eyes slightly dart behind him and then laughs. "His temper is just going to be his flaw." Ocean growls at him. "Come back to me, this should not of happened." "My name is not Nia, and I will never work with you again. Rainbow smiles at her. "And I also might of found a way to bring Earth back." Rainbow's eyes suddenly brighten as Master scoffs at her. "Oh really?" A sudden burst of flames hit Master. It is much more intense and wild. A faint screech is heard. Master roars as he instinctively whips Rainbow. Rainbow grunts as his colors turn green and blue. Master turns to Rainbow and suddenly becomes nervous. "Y-YOU CAN"T BE-" "Earth? Yes, I don't know how that happened, but it did." Rainbow turns toward Ocean. "You must tell me, how can I be what I once was?" Ocean smiles at him but then stares at Master "Right now, I want you to run." Rainbow nods and runs off as Master screams at it. "NO, you should of been destroyed 17 years ago!" Master turns to Ocean and snarls at her. "You don't even know how to turn it back!" "I'll figure it out, anyway you lied to me all these years! You brainwashed-" She pauses as Master stares at her. "What's wrong mermaid?" 'Shut up! Where is Ember?" Master stands stunned. He looks behind him, only a faint dust like wind floating there. A louder screech is heard and before Master can even move, a large fiery blur rams right into him. Master floats in the deep space. Ocean looks up as the flames disappear. She gasps as she sees Ember. He isn't humanoid anymore, rather phoenix like. His large wings up in the air with his foot claws tightening. His red eyes glowing with contracted pupils. A beak for a mouth filled with sharp fangs. She was witnessing what Ember was referring to; The Firebird.
