In 2006, Bruce Banner and his girlfriend Betty Ross are gamma scientists in Culver University. There is a superhero serum program that was used back in the 1940's and Banner himself volunteers for this experiment. The experiment seems to go smoothly at first until Banner gets to much gamma inside him and he transforms into a monster known as the Hulk. The Hulk, confused and outraged, tears up the lab and accidentally hurts Betty and other people inside. Later Bruce visits an unconscious Betty at the hospital. Her father, General Ross, threatens him to use him as a weapon and Banner then retreats as Betty awakens. The following days and weeks there has been numerous sightings of the Hulk and Ross hasn't given up on finding Bruce since.
Stan Lee: Woah....
When Ross's forces arrive to Brazil and get closer to Banner's location, Banner starts to sense something is wrong. He escapes right before Blonsky and his team barge in his home. However, Blonsky finds Banner and they start chasing him throughout town. Banner manages to outsmart some of Blonsky's team by getting them lost in crowds and making them fall though cracks in buildings. Blonsky almost manages to shoot Banner twice with a dart, but misses. As Banner starts to run farther away, he bumps into 4 thugs (workers in his workplace that are bullies) to which they start chasing him too.
Bruce manages to get in his workplace, but Blonsky's men manage to creep in while the thugs surprise attack Banner. They break his laptop and throw his backpack. The leader starts taunting him to which Banner notices Blonsky and his men. He warns the group that something bad will happen and when he is angry it isn't a good thing. The leader seems unamused and laughs at him. The Leader then punches him in the gut as Blonsky shoots one of the thugs with a dart. The leader laughs loudly as he throws Banner to the ground in the darkness. Banner's pulse rises to 200 and his eyes glow bright green...
In Blonksy's night vision he notices something changing in the darkness and it is growling.
Blonsky: Has anyone else seen this?!
The Leader seems mad that one of his friends got hurt and he tries kicking Bruce. However, he feels a pained feeling on his leg and he screams as a figure grabs him. Blonsky takes his night vision off startled. The leader's two friends move closer to the darkness to know where their leader went. The leader is thrown across the room as he crashes into glass and onto a wall. The two goons start to run for their life as a large figure roars loudly and starts chasing them. Blonsky starts to aim his gun toward the darkness but lowers it in surprise as one of the goon's gets snatched by a large green hand and throws him behind. Blonsky's team questions Ross over the radio if that is the target to which it is.
Ross: That is the Target! Shoot him now whatever you've got!
They start shooting all their darts, but to all their shock, the darts bounce off the creature's back. It turns around and starts to run toward the group. The group separates and shoots the creature some more to which they are grabbed, being shaked like a doll, and being thrown across the room. One of the solders throws a grenade to the creature's direction to which it explodes. There is a silence for a bit, until the creature quietly mumbles a threat.
Hulk: Leave me alone...
The group doesn't get the message and the creature starts to barge in on them with a liquid tank running them over. Blonsky is the only one remaining and starts shooting the creature some more. As Blonsky reloads his gun, the Hulk finally shows himself and growls at him. He then throws a machine at Blonsky, but misses. The Hulk retreats and roars out to the sky.
As Blonsky meets up with Ross to discuss what happened, Blonsky seems furious about the loss. He wants to know what that creature was and if he sees Banner again he will threaten him. Ross discusses that monster was Banner much to Blonsky's shock.
Ross: That was Banner. It was Banner
A day later, Banner awakens and finds himself in Guatemala lost. He stays there for a bit, but finds himself not safe there, and starts to find a different location. Meanwhile Ross and Blonsky discuss about Banner being a scientist and how he is NOT on of them. Blonsky feels like a wants to fight Banner again and wants to have a dote of the serum. Ross seems quite interested in this and arranges a day.
About 18 days after Banner's incident, he arrives back in Culver University. Finding out that Betty is safe, healthy, and seems to have a boyfriend, Bruce hides and seeks refuge in a friend's restaurant. Unfortunately, Betty finds out where Bruce is and reunites with him
Betty: Please, just tell me the truth!
Banner spends the night with Betty, with Samson (betty's boyfriend) being suspicious about Banner. Later Blonsky gets his dote and it feels uncomfortable for him as he feels pain in his back.
The next day, Betty and Bruce chat outside of Culver University to which Ross's forces start to arrive to capture Banner. Banner tells Betty to run away as far as she could, as he runs off too. Knowing what will happen he swallows a piece of data that accesses to a cure or an antidote. As the army closes in on Banner, Betty meets up with her father to stop this madness, but he refuses. Banner gets locked in a glass window and sleep gas crashes near him. Betty now getting worried runs toward Bruce's direction to which her father tells two soldiers to grab her. Banner notices this and tries to get out of the trap. His eyes narrow and his lips curl into a frown. When the soldiers pin Betty to the ground, Banner finally snaps as his eyes glow bright green and falls to the ground as the gas covers him.
As Betty gets picked up by the soldiers, she notices that Bruce is covered by the gas. Blonsky starts to grin as Bruce's hand slams onto the glass, cracking it. His whole arm starts to swell up and turn a bright dark green. Bruce's groans start to sound like animal sounds as his shirt rips from his large shoulders. His pants rip a little and his fists are giant like a yeti. He turns around, and punches the glass, and it reveals the Hulk in broad daylight.
Ross: Now she'll see
The Hulk jumps off the spot where he was and lands in the grass. He growls as Blonsky is ready to fight and Ross is quite shocked. Betty doesn't believe what she sees as she is brought to her father. The Hulk takes a step and roars as loudly as he can. Betty just stares at the Hulk awed by what Bruce became. Blonsky smirks more as he gets ready for battle and Ross calls on his forces.
Blonsky: Remember Me?!
Blonsky gets up close to Hulk and jumps onto the vehicle due to his dote. He switches to a pistol to which the Hulk gets aggravated and almost hits Blonsky with a vehicle piece. Blonsky nearly escapes the many attempts of getting hit by the vehicle.
Ross: Move him toward the cannons!
Blonsky starts to run off to which Hulk starts chasing after him, wanting to get his hands on him. As Blonsky gets closer to the Sonic cannons, he yells to turn the thing on. The cannons turn on as Blonsky covers his ears and Hulk gets caught in the waves. Hulk drops his weapons as he tries to cover his ears. Ross stares on as Blonsky sinisterly smiles.
As Hulk continues to struggle with the cannons, Betty begs her father to stop but he refuses. She starts screaming out in anguish to her father that he is killing Bruce. Hulk now on the ground, hears the cries of Betty and slowly crawls toward his vehicle weapons. He grabs them and blocks the sound. Ross is now looking shocked as Hulk throws one of the weapons into one of the cannons and then jumps on the other one.
Ross: Where's the gunship?!
Blonsky feeling the need to do something, shoots at the Hulk until there is no bullets. The Hulk does nothing but walk toward Blonsky. Ross notices this and tells Blonsky not to get closer. Instead Blonsky slightly taunts Hulk.
Blonsky: Is that all you got?
The Hulk having enough, seems to growl in agreement and kicks Blonsky to a tree, seemingly killing him.
As Betty just stands looking up at Hulk, she seems to sense Bruce still in him. Hulk starts to calm down a bit before breathing quite lightly. He looks worried for the girl and before he can do anything, the gunship arrives and starts shooting. Betty notices this and Hulk starts to cover Betty from the bullets. Ross notices and screams at the Helicopter to stop shooting. Hulk, who is still covering Betty, throws the remaining vehicle weapon at the helicopter which destroys it. An explosion occurs and it covers Hulk and Betty. As it starts to rain, Ross thinks that his daughter died and is heartbroken. The fire slowly dies out, and Hulk is carrying an unconscious Betty. He snarls a warning at Ross before running off.
At Samson's house, Ross thanks Samson for calling him about Banner. Samson doesn't seem so happy about the ordeal and said that Banner as the creature protected her and that Ross almost killed her. Ross doesn't seem pleased and says that his daughter is dating a fugitive, before leaving.
Samson: You know, I always seem to know when someone is lying. And you are.
The Hulk still carrying Betty sets sight on a cave. He ducks and slowly puts her to the ground. As rain drips off his hair, he breathes slightly onto Betty. She moves a little before awakening. She screams and accidentally hits Hulk in the head. The Hulk, startled, rears back and hits his head on the ceiling of the cave. He looks at her in annoyance and grabs his head and turns around. Betty now worried calls him by Bruce. Hulk turns and gets closer to the cave. Betty tries to find Bruce in there, but all she sees is a giant green creature looking confused and quite possibly scared. A clap of thunder makes the Hulk revert back to his angry state and Betty moves back a bit, knowing not to be around him when he is like this. He grabs a giant rock and throws it into the sky and roars loudly as lightning fills up the sky. Hulk crouches slightly and snarls. He growls to Betty to get back to the cave and then stands up straight. Betty notices that he is in a protective stance and when another clap of thunder happens, he growls furiously. She softly assures him that everything is ok. This seems to help, because the Hulk calms down for a bit. She walks up onto him slowly and grabs his hand. The Hulk follows to where Betty is leading him to. Betty sits down as Hulk does the same. She tightens her coat and looks up at Hulk. His shoulder shakes to the cold and he groans. The Hulk watches on as more lightning and thunder come, now feeling slightly safe.
Betty: It's ok. It's just the rain.
In the hospital, Ross meets an apparent almost unconscious Blonsky. The doctor says that he broke every bone in his body. Ross looks disgusted on the scene of Blonsky and walks out of the room. Blonsky's hand starts to move and one of his eyes open dramatically.
Back at the cave, it is morning. Betty awakens and figures out that she must of slept. She is on top of Bruce who transformed back overnight. She takes off her coat and puts it on Bruce. They rent a Motel to stay there for a while. Bruce manages to "receive" his data stick from earlier much to Betty's shock. Later Betty, cuts Bruce's hair and they start to make out. When Banner's pulse starts to rise, he warns Betty that they can't do it, much to her dismay.
Bruce: I can't get too excited.
Betty: Not even a little? (Bruce groans) It's ok!
As Ross watches the news about the Culver incident, one of his group leaders says there is news about Blonsky. Blonsky is fully recovered and well. Ross suspects that the small dose of the serum worked, and Blonsky seems really into fighting Hulk again.
Ross: How do you feel?
Blonsky: P***** off and ready for round three! (smiles)
